BKL and The Broker Club: Cryptocurrencies and Digital Finance

Our financial services team is pleased to be hosting an event exclusively for brokers, in collaboration with The Broker Club and BCB Group.

The Broker Club is dedicated to giving capital markets brokers a supportive, informative community where none was available before. BKL’s financial services specialists have experience with broker-dealer, inter-dealer broker and FX brokerage entities. We’re glad to be working with The Broker Club to support people in an increasingly regulated and rapidly changing sector.

BCB Group are a leading cryptocurrency prime broker and payments institution. We’re pleased to have Ben Sebley, one of BCB’s partners, joining us for this event. Ben started off his career as a military officer before moving into banking as an emerging markets equity salestrader at a large investment bank. He was top rated, with over seven years’ experience before he moved into the digital assets world at the start of 2018.

What we’ll be discussing

Central banks are looking at turning their own currency into a fully digital one. It raises some interesting points on how this would impact how the financial system currently works, and how it may challenge the status of the US$ as the global currency of choice.

We’re looking forward to leading the discussion on the future role of crypto and digital currencies. Areas for discussion include major players and myths in the sector, challenges and solutions for firms that get involved with crypto and any specific questions about the digital asset world.

  • When: Thursday 14 November, 4:00-5:30pm
  • Where: The Broker Club, Becket House, 36 Old Jewry, London EC2R 8DD

If you’re a broker and would like to know more about this event, please email [email protected].
