London-based chartered accountants and tax advisers Berg Kaprow Lewis (“BKL”) continue their ambitious expansion plans with the fifth senior-level appointment this year.

The latest to join is Lee Brook, previously a partner at Grant Thornton and Mazars.

Lee comes to BKL with 17 years of experience of providing both auditing and risk related services to a number of sectors, including dealing with hotel and leisure industry clients and FCA regulated entities.

On joining Lee said: ‘Having spent the last 17 years working within large, global practices, I wanted my next move to be to a Partnership that offered me the chance to be part of something special. In BKL I believe I have found that. After meeting with the firm’s managing partner, and a number of the firm’s other partners, I was impressed by their passion for the business, their commitment to their clients and their future growth strategy. I look forward to a long, successful and rewarding career with BKL.’

Commenting on the appointment, Jeff Hartstone, managing partner at BKL, said ‘we are very excited about Lee’s appointment. It makes a bold statement about BKL’s strategy of growth. His FCA experience will enhance our already strong regulated business and his hotel experience will both complement and add to our reputation as specialist providers of property related services.’
