‘Funding Circle has secured almost £100m from backers including DST Global, a venture capital firm run by Yuri Milner. The company, which connects small businesses seeking loans with retail investors, raised $150m in a round orchestrated by Goldman Sachs. Other groups to participate in the round included Blackrock, Singapore’s Temasek and Baillie Gifford.
