Charlie Elphicke MP, a former tax lawyer, says that lawyers and accountants who promote aggressive tax avoidance schemes should face criminal prosecution.
“There’s long been a tendency to think it’s all very clever. It’s not clever. It’s ripping off hardworking people who do the right thing and pay their due,” he stated.
