Ben’s first-hand experience in industry and professional services enables him to provide expert support to fast-growing businesses’ leadership and finance teams.
His extensive experience in commercial finance includes:
- Commercial FD support – including the management of finance teams
- Financial modelling, planning, analysis and forecasting
- Corporate finance – including M&A transaction support and due diligence
Ben trained at PwC, where he worked with top FTSE 250 clients and on Treasury advisory and Transaction Services deals. He gained experience at a corporate finance house, covering origination, strategic planning and a broad range of deals.
Ben has also held FD roles with the Expedia Group, both in the UK and internationally. He led teams that provided key commercial business partnering to the biggest supplier and B2B customer negotiations.
More recently, Ben was Chief Operating Officer at CFPro Ltd, contributing to its status as a trusted partner to growing businesses with strategic goals. Ben joined BKL as a director in 2023 when CFPro became part of BKL.
Ben spends his free time with his wife and two children and enjoys hiking, reading and fitness (he used to be a certified kettlebell instructor).
