Simon Arthur is an Associate Director in BKL’s Advance Business Services (ABS) team, based in London. He works closely with owner‑managed businesses, and groups, providing practical, commercially focused accounting and tax support throughout the business lifecycle.
He has extensive experience across statutory accounts preparation, management reporting, tax compliance, LLPs, property structures, and group entities, helping clients navigate complex regulatory and reporting requirements with confidence. He is particularly known for translating technical accounting and tax issues into clear, actionable advice that supports informed decision‑making.
As a senior member of the ABS team, Simon is also closely involved in engagement management, client onboarding, process improvement, and team leadership, ensuring work is delivered efficiently and to a consistently high standard. He takes a hands‑on approach to client relationships and is valued for his responsiveness, attention to detail, and pragmatic mindset.
Simon works with a broad range of clients, including property businesses, investment companies, and complex owner‑managed structures, and regularly collaborates with specialists across BKL to deliver joined‑up advice on tax, compliance, and financial reporting matters.
Originally from Ireland, Simon moved to the UK in early 2020. Outside of work, Simon enjoys sport, particularly golf and rugby, previously playing golf at scratch level (emphasis on previously!).
