BKL achieves Bronze in Mind’s Workplace Wellbeing Index

Insights, News

We’re proud that BKL has been awarded Bronze in Mind’s Workplace Wellbeing Index in 2018/19, recognising our commitment to our people’s mental health and wellbeing.

After choosing Mind as BKL’s charity for 2018/19, we were pleased to work further with them by taking part in the Workplace Wellbeing Index. It enables Mind to assess employers’ approach to workplace wellbeing and advise them on how to make further improvements for employees.

This is the first time BKL has taken part in the Index. At the Workplace Wellbeing Awards, we welcomed the opportunity to meet fellow recipients of the Bronze award, which recognises organisations that have ‘started their journey to better mental health at work by developing and implementing initiatives that promote positive mental health for staff’.

Jeff Hartstone, our senior partner, says, “We’re committed to putting our people first, and supporting their good health and wellbeing is a vital part of that. It benefits not just our teams but ultimately our clients and communities too.

“That’s why we’re delighted to have achieved Bronze in Mind’s Workplace Wellbeing Index, especially in our first year participating. We enjoy collaborating with Mind and look forward to working with them to make a difference to wellbeing at BKL.”

Emma Mamo, Head of Workplace Wellbeing at Mind, says: “Valued and supported employees are far more likely to deliver the best outcomes for your organisation. The Awards provided an opportunity to recognise those forward-thinking employers who are at the cutting edge when it comes to investing in their staff wellbeing, and in turn getting the best outcomes for their business.”

Our careers pages and brochures, available here, will tell you more about what it’s like to be part of BKL.
