We’re very proud to announce the coming together of accountants, tax and business advisers Wilson Wright with BKL from Tuesday 2 April.
Having taken private equity investment in April 2023, BKL have been seeking partnerships with other like-minded, people-focused businesses. BKL and Wilson Wright have a long history of working together and have built a strong relationship over many years. It now feels like the right time to capitalise on the opportunities this provides as the businesses come together.
Wilson Wright are a people-led, proactive, professional advisory firm, where heritage, trust and partnership are at the heart of what they believe in. Based in the City of London, their origins go back over 130 years and many of their client relationships span decades.
Their client base is varied and spans technology, family offices, recruitment, e-commerce, retail, property, sport, and media. Traditionally an accounts, assurance and audit-focused firm, they have over the last decade developed a highly specialised tax offering covering high net worth private clients, transactional advice and tax dispute resolution.
As a result of this deal, the combined business will have two well-established bases in London: BKL’s office in north London and Wilson Wright’s office in central London. Together we have a team of over 400 people, including 39 partners, and a combined turnover of £46 million.
BKL have been on an ambitious growth path since partnering with leading private equity investors CBPE. This deal comes on the back of three successful BKL mergers in the past year: chartered accountants Landau Baker, virtual finance team specialists CFPro and chartered accountants Alan Heywood & Company. Together our combined offering will create further opportunities to provide our clients with an end-to-end service.
