As covered in our June 2022 article, the Government’s Making Tax Digital initiative is set to begin its next phase in 2024: MTD for Income Tax Self Assessment. This will apply to individuals whose total gross income from self-employment and property exceeds £10,000 in a tax year.
If you’re a UK landlord, how will this affect you and how should you prepare?
At our webinar on 27 July, our tax experts teamed up with Hammock, specialists in software for landlords, to explain:
- How MTD for Income Tax is expected to work for landlords
- How BKL, in partnership with Hammock, can help you to prepare for MTD and keep costs down
- How Hammock’s web and app platform works and how the team can assist you
You can read the slides from the webinar.
Thank you to everyone who submitted questions during the webinar. For any questions that we didn’t cover, you’re welcome to get in touch using our enquiry form. We’d be pleased to help.
