Nick is part of BKL’s leadership team for assurance.
He has responsibility for a large client portfolio that focuses on several specialist areas, including:
- FCA authorised entities, ranging from boutique FX and interdealer brokers to CFD traders and prime brokers
- Fintech companies, including business dealing in cryptocurrencies
- Large UK property groups and construction companies
Nick’s technical capabilities as an audit troubleshooter have helped him to build strong relationships with clients and with colleagues in our audit team. His specialisms include:
- The preparation and audit of group accounts, in particular those with a large and more complex structure
- Advising on accounting and tax issues for large corporate structures
- Helping newly formed FCA clients to develop their systems with regards to CASS compliance
Nick’s specialist areas include:
- FCA authorised entities, ranging from boutique FX and interdealer brokers to CFD traders and prime brokers

- Specialist property groups, including construction companies, student accommodation and property investment and development companies
- Large and complex groups with overseas components
Nick joined BKL as a senior in 2013 and became a partner in 2023.
Away from work, Nick enjoys keeping active with a range of sports from village cricket to rock climbing. He has played on BKL’s team in the Last Man Stands London cricket league and the mixed netball team.
