Sam’s dual expertise as a chartered accountant and chartered tax adviser enables him to support clients via a full range of technical guidance.
He responds to complex issues with incisive thinking, clear explanations and practical solutions that draw on his all-round understanding.
Sam has progressed at BKL from ACA trainee in 2015 to associate director in tax in 2024. Initially concentrating on audit and assurance, Sam has focused solely on tax consultancy since 2019. He takes a keen interest in colleagues’ development across the firm, sharing his knowledge through BKL’s internal tax training.
Sam’s specialisms include the tax implications of trading and transferring cryptocurrencies and NFTs for both individuals and corporates. He also has expertise in wealth structuring, including in family investment companies (FICs) and other tax-efficient ways of preserving and passing on family wealth.
