Our commitment to making a difference

We began our B Corp application process in 2021. It enabled us to assess our impact on our people, clients, communities and the environment in detail. This has helped us to better understand our ESG (environmental, social and governance) responsibilities.

We were a very proud to become a B Corp in 2022.

That meant becoming part of a worldwide community of businesses that believe business can, and should, be done better.

B Corporations across the globe are certified by a non-profit network called B Lab, who are on a mission to make all business a force for good.

As part of the certification process, we had to meet the highest verified standards of social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability.

Being a B Corp is more than just a certification. It’s about being part of a movement towards a better future.

We’re building relationships with a rapidly-growing network of businesses who share our commitment to doing business in a responsible way. As part of this community, we can collaborate our efforts and learn from each other to continue on the journey towards progress.

By working with BKL, you’re working with a business that is committed to having a positive impact on people and the planet.

We received an overall score of 83.6, on our first attempt at certifying.

This score is measured through a B Impact Assessment (BIA), where every detail of the business is scrutinised. To become certified, you need to achieve an overall score of 80+ out of 200. We are working to increase that number every time we re-certify.

We also earned the status of an Impact Business Model – meaning that BKL was designed to create a specific positive outcome for our stakeholders.
