BKL welcomes TripAdvisor deal with Captini

BKL have welcomed the deal between our client, leading social WiFi marketing provider Captini, and global review site TripAdvisor.

London-based Captini has licensed its ground-breaking technology to TripAdvisor, which has 490 million unique monthly browsers and over five million restaurant listings.

The technology, which is being branded as TripAdvisor WiFi Plus under the contract, allows the largest travel site in the world to offer subscribing restaurants a way to collect contact information about customers and encourage more reviews.

“We are delighted by this enormous further success for Captini,” said Howard Graff, BKL partner. “The global deal with TripAdvisor signals the quality of the product and will showcase its remarkable, world-beating technology.”

Captini, which was founded in 2013, helps hospitality identify their customers, record visit history and automate communication that is more personal and precisely targeted to drive higher return rates.

Its product for TripAdvisor will allow restaurants to collect customer contact information in exchange for free WiFi at the venue. Guests that sign in will see a landing page custom-branded to the restaurant.
