BKL welcomes new head of private client services

North London Chartered Accountants and business advisers BKL continue their ambitious expansion plans with the fourth senior-level appointment in as many months.

The latest to join is Geraint Jones, who will head BKL’s Private Client business where he will focus on the creation of bespoke solutions to improve tax-efficiency for individuals with multiple assets and sources of income.

Geraint is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and comes to BKL with 25 years of experience in tax including most recently a spell as a partner at Reeves (previously FW Stephens). He’s also written on tax for a number of publications including the Mail on Sunday and is often quoted in the national press and on the BBC.

On joining BKL Geraint said “I’ve long known and admired BKL for the outstanding reputation of its tax department and the expertise of its people. I’m delighted to be part of the next phase of the firm’s development”

Commenting on the appointments David Whiscombe, senior tax partner at BKL, said “We have for some time been searching for just the right person for this important strategic appointment. I’m delighted to have persuaded Geraint to come to BKL and I am looking forward to working with him to consolidate our position as North London’s premier team of specialist tax advisers”
