As BKL’s chairman, Graham applies a wealth of experience in senior leadership roles at a wide range of growing, ambitious businesses. In guiding businesses through major transformational growth, Graham’s achievements include:

  • Being the youngest ever CEO of a FTSE 250 company – Marlborough Stirling – where he oversaw rapid turnover growth from £17m to £120m
  • Sitting on the regulated board of Capita’s life and pensions division, which grew from 1,200 people to 10,000 people in four years
  • Building a portfolio of company directorships and investments as an angel investor
  • Helping to establish a chargepoint business for electric cars which was sold to French energy giant Engie
  • Leading the acquisition, turnaround, transformational growth and sale of Rowan Dartington Wealth Management
  • Successful sales of four businesses


Graham’s experience as chairman has included a family office, successful early stage VC fund, an internet-based group, occupational psychologists, a financial services consolidator and a TV production company.

Having worked with a number of private equity (PE) backed businesses, Graham became BKL’s chairman in 2023, early in our PE partnership with CBPE. Working closely with our CEO Lee Brook and our board, Graham ensures that we continue our strategic growth and development with expert stewardship.

ELANA DIMMER

Elana joined us in 2017 as an ACA trainee, after graduating from Durham University where she had studied languages. She is now a manager in our assurance team.
