Personal tax clients benefit from Kasia’s uniquely diverse background and her wealth of experience across both the public and private sectors.
Kasia began her career in tax at a Big Four firm, followed by a role in a smaller independent practice where she developed her expertise in personal and international tax matters. She then took a career break from the profession to serve as a detective in the police force, investigating serious and complex crimes. After leaving the police force, Kasia returned to the tax profession by joining another Big Four firm, further deepening her technical knowledge and experience before moving to BKL.
She has considerable experience in dealing with all aspects of personal tax and compliance issues affecting clients and her tax specialisms include advising clients on international tax matters, residence and domicile issues, and inheritance tax planning. She works with high net worth individuals and internationally mobile clients, helping them navigate complex cross border tax landscapes.
Kasia is one of BKL’s lead specialists in Making Tax Digital for Income Tax (MTD IT), helping clients to understand and prepare for the new filing requirements being introduced between April 2026 and April 2028. She is also experienced in overseeing PSAs and P11D submissions for the Private Client Team.
Outside her professional life, Kasia is a former elite gymnast and was a member of the national team, demonstrating discipline, focus, and a commitment to excellence from an early age. Her diverse background gives her a unique perspective and a dynamic approach to client service.
