‘The UK housing market is showing signs of prolonged recovery, according to the latest Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) survey.
The poll of 280 estate agents found that property prices held steady in December, marking the first time since mid-2010 that surveyors did not report that prices edged downward over a three month period.
RICS also said that for the first time in 30 months surveyors did not predict further price drops over the next quarter. London was again the strongest region. The organisation is forecasting that prices will rise by 2% this year.’
