Gender Pay Gap Report 2026

Transparency is essential to real progress. That’s why, last year, we chose to publish our gender pay gap figures even though we weren’t required to.

This year, we’re doing the same.

We know people read gender pay gap reports to check two things: are we being open, and do the numbers add up to a fair story? That’s the spirit of this update.

Pay is only one part of the picture. We’re focused on enhancing the overall employee experience, ensuring our people feel recognised, empowered, and supported when it matters most.

Our intention is to give you more than facts and figures. This is the full story: where BKL stands today, what the data is telling us, and the actions we’re taking to keep moving in the right direction.

Beyond the data, this report includes insights into:

  • Our Family Friendly commitments
  • Development and progression, including comments from women at BKL who’ve taken part in our Senior Leadership Programme and DFK International’s IWIL Mentoring programme
  • How we listen and gather feedback
  • Embedding good decision‑making

Lee Brook, CEO

“This isn’t just about reporting numbers; it’s about supporting people. We want everyone at BKL to enjoy equal opportunities to thrive. The insights this report provides will help us do more and do the right thing.”

Greg McCaw, Chief People Officer

“It’s important that we do things because they matter, not simply because we are legally required to. That’s why we’ve published our report voluntarily again this year.

We’ve been clear about why the figures look the way they do. How we measure ourselves is about more than creating opportunities. It’s about the experience we create for everyone at BKL, as we work together to build a good business.”
